CCCWVCA Announces All-American, All-State, Region Team

The California Community College Women's Volleyball Association (CCCWVCA) released the 2025 All-State, All-Region and All-Americans on Wednesday.

The list starts with AVCA First Team All-Americans in Feather River outside hitter Chloe Albiez, San Joaquin Delta OH Hadlee Gray and Desert OH Clairie Thomas. 

Thomas led the state in kills in the regular season with 480, kills per set at 5.22, overall points scored at 552.5. Gray was second in all three categories with 460, 5.05 average, and 540.5 points. Albiez, the MVP of last year's 3C2A State Championships, finished fourth in overall kills (424) and fourth in points at 495.5.

Second Team All-Americans included Taft OH Jazzahlei Satele (third in state points with 519.5), and a pair of Pacific Coast Athletic Conference outside hitter talents in San Diego Mesa's Mia Lundberg and San Diego Miramar's Madelyn Wutzke.

Third Team All-Americans were Orange Coast OH Nika Safavi, Fresno City middle blocker Haiden Davis and Feather River setter Teya Gibbs, the state leader in overall assists with 1,137. 

A new Libero of the Year was added to this year's awards with Mt. San Antonio's Mayah Tiscareno and Sequoias' Allison Wood, the state leader in digs with 715, taking the honors. 

The South Region Coach of the Year is Chuck Cutenese, who directed Orange Coast to a regular season undefeated season at 25-0 and the Orange Empire Conference championship. The North Region Coach of the Year is San Joaquin Delta's Molly Hummel, whose Mustangs finished 27-1, won the Big 8 title, and earned the #1 seed for the North Regionals.
