Wild week shakes up rankings
Several changes to the rankings after several top-20 match-ups.
LOS ANGELES — There are several shifts in the latest California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (3CFCA) rankings after several top-20 matchups throughout the state.
What remains the same are the top three teams in the poll. Palomar continues to prove to be the top team in the state after recording three top-20 wins, beating No. 4 Cypress twice, and defeating conference rival No. 11 Fullerton. No. 2 Sierra still reigns as the top team in the North with three wins including a pair of wins over No. 14 Sacramento City. Mt. San Antonio College went a perfect 4-0 during the week.
Eighteen of the 24 teams receiving votes in this week's poll suffered at least one defeat. Fifteen of those teams lost to other ranked opponents.
