Movement atop the north in week three poll

LOS ANGELES, Calif – Cerritos College remains on top in week three of the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association Poll after playing to a 7-0 start to the 2025 season. 

Some movement on the top as West Valley takes over the top spot in the north, cruising to eight-straight victories. The No. 2 Vikings, along with No. 4 San Mateo and No. 6 Fresno City, leap the No. 8 San Joaquin Delta Mustangs, who held the highest ranking in the north through the first three polls.

El Camino, now 6-0, remains No. 3 after beating Rio Hondo 12-1 in five innings on Tuesday. Number 5 Palomar, No. 7 Mt. San Antonio, No. 9 Saddleback – who leaps all the way into the top 10 after three straight weeks off the board – and No. 10 Sacramento City round out the top-10.

Yuba leaps into the rankings with an undefeated opening to the season, and Antelope Valley joins the party for the first time in 2025 in the 19 spot. The Marauders are tearing it up from the Western State South Division, winning all eight to start the year, five of which by the 8-run rule.

Dropped out: Bakersfield (15), San Diego Mesa (19), Feather River (20)
