Minor changes in latest 3CFCA Poll after rain soaked week
Only a few changes after numerous games were postponed.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Games across the state were halted or postponed due to the inclement weather, leading to few changes in the latest California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association rankings.
The most notable changes were in the top-5 where Monterey Peninsula jumped up two spots to No. 2 after defeating Hartnell 19-1. Sierra moved down a spot to No. 3 despite winning all three of its games in commanding fashion. Monterey Peninsula defeated Sierra head-to-head 3-1 earlier this season. Mt. San Antonio moves to No. 4 after an idle week.
The lone new team in the rankings is No. 18 Folsom Lake. The Falcons bested Modesto in a doubleheader to extend its win streak to No. 5. Folsom Lake also owns a win over No. 17 Fresno City and previously ranked San Jose.
