Keone Cabinian pitched 6 2/3 shutout innings as College of San Mateo rolled past visiting Coast Golden Gate baseball rival Chabot College, 7-0, Tuesday afternoon. San Mateo scored two runs in each of the first third innings and one more in the fourth to stay unbeaten (3-0) atop the Golden Gate standings. The Bulldogs, 10-5 overall, are ranked No. 5 in Northern California this week.

CSM SHUTS OUT CROSSBAY RIVAL CHABOT, 7-0, REMAINS ATOP GOLDEN GATE BASEBALL STANDINGS
SAN MATEO -- Keone Cabinian pitched 6 2/3 shutout innings as College of San Mateo rolled past visiting Coast Golden Gate baseball rival Chabot College, 7-0, Tuesday afternoon.
San Mateo scored two runs in each of the first third innings and one more in the fourth to stay unbeaten (3-0) atop the Golden Gate standings. The Bulldogs, 10-5 overall, are ranked No. 5 in Northern California this week.
Bear Smith and Draco Roberts each had a pair of hits and Austin Lonestar had CSM's only extra base hit, a double.
Brian Ransom got the final out in the seventh inning, relieving Cabinian with the bases loaded. Devin Mahoney pitched the last two frames, putting down the Gladiators in order in the ninth and striking out the final two batters.
--CSM stays at home the rest of the week, hosting City College of San Francisco on Thursday at 2 p.m. and Gavilan on Saturday at 12 noon.
