Kapovic had a strong week during a stretch that saw excellent performances around the state. He netted 15 goals and assisted on 11 scores in five games all ending in wins. Four of the wins came against CCCAA competition where he scored three or more goals against three ranked teams including No. 5 Long Beach, No. 7 Orange Coast and No. 10 Cerritos. Additionally, he swiped five steals and drew four ejections.

Melvin had an impressive week as she led the top-ranked Vikings to four wins and remained at the top spot in the rankings. She scored a state-high 27 goals in five games highlighted by a nine-goal outburst in an 18-3 win over Palomar. She scored six goals in the previous two wins over Merced and Cerritos, capped by three goals games against No. 3 Orange Coast and no. 6 Long Beach. She assisted on five scores through the five games and drew six ejections. Her talented transitioned well on the defensive end as she pockets eight total steals with 11 steals highlighted by seven steals against Palomar. Currently, she ranks sixth in the state with 57 goals.
