Fresno City and Mt. SAC Cruise in Regional Duals, Set to Face Off in State Dual Championship
The 3C2A State Dual Championship is set after Mt. SAC and Fresno City took first in the South and North Regionals.
Mt. San Antonio and Fresno City were both dominant in the 3C2A Regional Duals, setting up a rematch for the dual state championships on November 23rd.
Mt. SAC outscored their opponents 129-20, cruising to a first place finish in the Southern California Regional Duals. After receiving a bye in the first round, the Mounties went 3-0 as they defeated Santa Ana (46-6), Palomar (45-12) and Cerritos (38-2).
In the North, Fresno City was just as convincing, collecting three straight wins as well. They went through Skyline (46-3), Santa Rosa (43-10) and Sacramento City (32-12) to advance to the state championships for the 11th consecutive season.
The two powerhouses will face off in the championship for the third consecutive year, with the Mounties in line for a three-peat.
Fresno City College will host the championship on November 23rd.
