2025 3C2A Women’s Wrestling State Championship: Preview
The 2025 3C2A Women's Wrestling State Championship will take place on Saturday, April 19th at East LA College.
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. - 16 teams are set to compete in the 2025 California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) Women's Wrestling State Championship at East Los Angeles College on Saturday, April 19th.
Back-to-back state champions and No. 1 ranked Cerritos will enter as one of the favorites. The Falcons have four out of the 10 top seeded wrestlers in their weight bracket with Eniekeye Osede (235lbs), Raven Ross (207lbs), Kinsey Konrad (180lbs) and Vida Beckel (160lbs).
One of their biggest challengers will be the No. 2 ranked Mt. San Antonio Mounties. Mt. SAC is led by three of their own top seeded wrestlers in Alexis Jimenez (145lbs), Leilani Lazaro (124lbs), Mackenzie Muniz (117lbs).
The Sacramento City Panthers are another threat as they finished No. 3 ranked team in the state after going 6-0 in the BIG 8 and 9-1 overall.
In their first season of competition, Skyline College ended the regular season as the No. 4 ranked team. Despite not having any top seeded wrestlers, the Trojans proved that they can compete with a recent 2nd place finish at the ELAC Leader of the Pack Tournament.
Rounding out the top five are the East LA Huskies, who placed third in state last season.
