Hoover tosses perfect game, Kastigar does it all to earn weekly nods

LOS ANGELES, Calif – Savanna Kastigar of El Camino College and Charlee Hoover of Hartnell College earned the final California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association Player and Pitcher of the Week nods of the 2025 season.

Kastigar, who’s been a force at the top of the Warriors’ lineup all season, went 9-for-11 at the plate, scoring eight runs, driving in three and stealing four bases. Kastigar went a week-best 4-for-4 against No. 19 Citrus in a Warrior win.

Hoover tossed a perfect game, striking out seven while facing the minimum in a 1-0 win over No. 8 San Jose City. The week nine Pitcher of the Week came back on Thursday, April 15, handing No. 1 West Valley its third loss of the season.
