Jags Avenge Only Conference Loss Against the Lobos with an 86-71 Win

Jordan Gill had 18 points with four rebounds, Mison Coilton scored 16 points with seven rebounds, and the Jags (22-4, 9-1 Coast-South) beat the Lobos (10-14, 4-6) to continue their six-game winning streak.   

The Jags ended the first half 40-29, then continued their momentum early in the second half to keep the lead. The Lobos managed to tie the game at 63-63 with 6:39 left on the clock. However, a 13-3 run by the Jags with two minutes remaining effectively sealed the game.  

The Jags had an efficient night, shooting 50% on the field and making 25 of 32 free throws. AB Gilchrist facilitated the team's offense with 12 points, nine assists, and three steals. Jacob Harper added 15 points and three rebounds, while reserve Nikola Milojevic went 5 for 6 with two 3's for 14 points to go with five rebounds.   

The Jags will be hosting their sophomore night against Gavilan on 2/15. Their final game will be against Hartnell on 2/17. If the Jags win these next two games, they will be the coast-south conference champions.
