West Hills college hosted Modesto College in a non-conference match today. Modesto got on the board first as forward Andres Garcia tucked Modesto's first shot of the game neatly into the far post beyond the West Hills keeper, Francisco Mora in the 17th minute of the match. West Hills did stay behind for long it only took sophomore standout Arnaldo Cipriano 84 seconds to score and bring the game level at 1-1. As the second half started it was West Hills who found space down the left sideline and Esteven Gonzalez (Sunnyside High) crossed the ball to Francisco Torres (El Diamante) for the go ahead goal. 11 minutes later a west Hills defensive mistake gave Garcia a chance for his second goal 1 on 1 with the West Hills keeper but Mora was up for the challenge and the game remained 2-1 until Sylas Moura scored his 11th goal this season getting a great chest pass from Tony Torres (Selma) and finishing it with a first time shot far post in the 74th minute. That is how the game would end, West Hills Lemoore 3 Modesto College 1.
