Former Comet, La Farge, Earns NAIA National Runner-Up
Former Palomar College All-American, Aaron La Farge, became a 2015 NAIA national runner-up for Oklahoma City University in Topeka, Kansas. Aaron also received the NAIA Champions of Character award for being a role model on and off the mat. Aaron lead Oklahoma City University to the highest team finish at the NAIA national tournament. In 2013, he was an NAIA all-American, and in 2014 Aaron held the #1 NAIA ranking in the nation before his season was cut short in a car accident. Aaron's college wrestling career began in San Marcos, CA at Palomar College. There, he was named community college All-American for the Comets under former coach Byron Campbell and current coach Brody Barrios. Aaron was the highest CCCAA transfer in the NAIA national tournament with a second-place finish.
