TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College scored an 11-8 South Coast Conference victory over visiting Chaffey on Wednesday afternoon at the ECC Aquatics Center.

Leiana Gonzales and Jackie Calhoun led the Warriors (7-5, 3-1) with four goals apiece with Brooke Baudendistel adding two and Eden Brooke scoring one in the victory.

Clarissa Banuelos led the Panthers (3-7, 1-4) with six of the team's eight goals in the loss. Jaylynn Rodriguez and Kylie Garcia each tallied one goal on the afternoon.

The match was tight throughout but the Warriors never trailed. They led by as much as three in the third quarter but the Panthers were able to narrow it back down to one heading into the fourth.

In the final quarter, the Warriors opened up another three-goal lead at 9-6 and this time they were able to keep the separation as the defense allowed just two goals to the Panthers. The Warriors would outscore Chaffey 4-2 in the final quarter to score the win.

The Warriors will have a full week off before hosting Long Beach on Oct. 19 at the ECC Aquatics Center.
