Softball Extends Winning Streak to Seven Games, Beating Palomar College 13-6

SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Softball rides a seven game win streak after running past Palomar College in a 13-6 victory. Kamryn Fisher hit a three run homer for the Warriors. Alyssa Wing earned three RBI and Raelani Camez recorded two RBI, also hitting a double.

The Comets were first on the board, scoring a two-run homer at the bottom of the first inning. The Warriors then tied the game at the top of the second, with Fisher hitting a two RBI single. She then went on to hit a three run homer to give her a total of five RBI, which puts her at a season high of 20.

Wing also hit a two RBI single that gave the Warriors the lead at the top of the third. She went 3-3 at the plate and tallied three runs and three RBI during the competition.

Camez went 4-5 at the plate and logged a run for the Warriors. Raylauni Jones also scored a run for the Warriors off a sac fly by Wing.

The Warriors extend their record 16-5 (2-0 SCC) and travel to Santiago Canyon on Monday, March 13th.
