The Corsairs men's soccer team traveled to Citrus College, last Friday, October 7th. The Corsairs are enjoying an excellent performance from some of their key players, and those abilities retook place yesterday at Citrus.

The game started with a storm and a quick goal by Javier Mendoza after an assist from Jason Moreno, 4 minutes into the game. Although the first half ended with 12 attempts on goal by SMC, the score remained 1-0. The second half was a different story, and the Corsairs managed to have their pressure game translated into goals. 20 minutes into the second half, Alexander Lalor found his 7th goal of the season. 10 minutes later, Jason Moreno scored his 3rd of the season.

Citrus College managed to score a goal 4 minutes to the end of the match, but Alexander Lalor spoiled their short celebration with a great assist to Benjamin Zygman a minute later.
