Men's Volleyball Moves Past .500 with Win

The Santa Monica College Men's Volleyball team beat SBCC, to move to 5-4 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. 

With the Match tied at 2, the Corsairs found themselves down 13-11 in the 5th and deciding set when Coach Zamir called a Timeout. The Corsairs came out of the time out and scored 4 straight points to grab the victory.

Kane Schwengel, #10, was a key player for the Corsairs with his defense and high hitting percentage. #6 Sean Ortiz, playing in front of his hometown as the new Middle Blocker, was a fantastic addition and added a great hitting and blocking percentage.
