Sabrina Figueroa (4-2) earned her fourth win of the season after giving up only one earned run off three hits. She also helped her own cause by going 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs.
Figueroa put the Knights on top early with an RBI-single in the bottom of the first inning. Meli Memea and Alyssa Gonzalez both earned bases-loaded walks to give the Knights a 3-0 after one inning of play.
Mount San Jacinto responded with two runs in the second inning, but the Knights came back with four runs in the 4th to grab a 7-2 lead. That inning was highlighted by Alexis Gonzalez' 2-RBI double and Memea's RBI single.
City then started the bottom of the fifth three straight singles followed by an RBI-double from Figueroa and the game-ending 2-RBI double by Alexis Gonzalez.
The Knights improved to 4-3 overall and 4-1 in the PCAC.
