The Sierra College women's basketball team showed why they are deserving of their #3 ranking on Wednesday night as they soundly defeated the Falcons, 85-54 at Falcom Gym. Daily. Applegarth led the Falcons in scoring with 13 points while Reya Lee came off the bench to chip in 11 points. Amani Britton recorded a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
The Falcons (5-12 overall, 1-3 in Big 8) will face the #1 team in California on Friday night when Delta College (19-0-1, 5-0-1) visits Falcon Gym at 7:30 pm.
