Hawks win third straight, beat San Joaquin Delta 15-10
The Las Positas College men's water polo team cruised to its third straight win, beating San Joaquin Delta 15-10 in Stockton on Tuesday. LPC defeated Delta for the second time this year and improved to 3-2 overall.
Kyle Young continued his impressive freshman season, scoring six more goals to lead all in the game. His 17 goals over five games easily leads the Hawks.
Cade Venables and Zachary Perry both scored three goals each while goalie Quentin Perry totaled 12 saves and was credited with a pair of assists.
Las Positas returns to action on Saturday (Sep. 18) when the Hawks will compete at the Joe Martinez Memorial Tournament at Ohlone College. LPC is scheduled to face Modesto Junior College and Sierra College at the one-day event.
