A three-game winning streak for the No. 15 state-ranked Los Positas College men's soccer team came to an end after a 5-0 Coast Conference loss at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose on Friday.
The Hawks were held scoreless for just the third time this season and were coming off a huge 11-1 win over Chabot College on Tuesday.
With five games to play in the regular season, LPC is 10-4-2 overall and sits in third place in the Coast Conference North Division standings behind Foothill (5-0-1) and Evergreen Valley (4-2-1).
The Hawks return to action on Tuesday (Oct. 26) when they travel to De Anza College for a 12:30 p.m. conference game.
