Falcons defeat Cuesta in double overtime
It took two overtime periods, but the West Hills men's basketball team prevailed over the Cuesta College Cougars 102-95. After the score being knotted at the end of regulation 79-79, then again at the end of the first overtime 90-90, the Falcons turned it on in the second overtime outscoring Cuesta 12-5 for the victory.

The win moves West Hills to an early season 2-0 record, while the Cougars fall to 1-1.
The Falcons had six players score in double figures, Elisee Ehuie lead the way with 26 points and 11 rebounds, Supreme Niles added 15 points to go with 8 assists.

The West Hills bench contributed significantly with Daemar Potts scoring 13 points with 7 rebounds and 3 assists, Khyree Reese had 12 points and 7 boards and reserve point guard Noah Richmond did not miss in three 3-point attempts, tallying 11 points to go with 10 assists.

Starting post player Devion Edwards had to leave the game in the second half due to injury, but not before contributing 11 points and 7 rebounds.

West Hills next travels to the northern part of the state to play in the Mendocino College Tournament in Ukiah on November 17-19. The Falcons open with College of the Siskiyous at 8pm on Nov. 17.
