Former Saddleback Runner, Amy Jystad, Receives KCAC Runner of the Week

Wichita, Kansas – The University of Saint Mary takes the fourth week of the KCAC Cross Country Men's and Women's Runner of the Week Honors following impressive performances from Aaron Potter (Sr., Lansing, Kansas) and Amy Jystad (Sr., Trabuco, California).
Both student-athletes were nominated by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors for their performances during the week of September 22nd - 28th.
Jystad finished sixth out of 134 runners at the Emporia State Inviational on Friday to help the Spires finish fourth out of 14 teams. She ran a time of 19:45 in the 5K race and was the first KCAC runner to cross the finish line. Jystad ran against a field of runners that was made up of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA competitors.
