Women's Volleyball 2018 All-State/All-Region Teams
Twenty-four players from 21 colleges are represented on the 2018 California Community College Women's Volleyball All-State, All-Region teams.
Bakersfield College was represented by AVCA All-American First Team and All-State setter Sarah Armendariz while the state No. 2-ranked Renegades also saw Carl Ferreira named Southern California Region Coach of the Year. Gavilan, the No. 4-ranked team, was represented by All-State middle blocker Evelyn Clonts and All-NorCal Region libero Mikeila Banda. The Rams are directed by Northern Region Coach of the Year Kevin Kramer.
West Valley's Mapuhola Sekona and El Camino's Phina Leilua also were named All-American First Team. Second Team All-Americans include Irvine Valley libero Renata Bath, Hartnell outside hitter Samantha Shafer and Fresno City middle blocker Keri Leake.
Third Team All-Americans were San Joaquin Delta's OH Amilya Thompson, Canyons' middle blocker Grace Ferguson, and Moorpark's OH Miranda Poole. Thompson and Sekona are the only players that return to the elite list of players as they were All-Region selections as freshmen.
