Former Hartnell Runner Qualifies To NCAA DII National Meet

Former Panther Amy Johnston qualified to the NCAA DII Outdoor National Championship in the 5000 meter run with her 16:52.50 at the SF State Distance Carnival last Friday. The time ranks her #3 in the nation for DII females. Amy was the Coast Conference 1500 meter champion and Northern California runner-up in the 1500 meters in 2012. She is currently a senior at University of Alaska Anchorage.
