The Bakersfield College women's basketball team clinched a share of the West State Conference South Division championship with a 77-72 comeback victory over College of the Canyons Wednesday night at the Gil Bishop Sports Center.
Nakia Page scored 24 of her game-high 28 points in the second half to help the Renegades overcome a seven-point deficit with12:08 remaining.
BC (21-4, 10-3) can clinch the WSC-South out-right by closing out the regular season with a win against Antelope Valley on Saturday. The Marauders trail BC by one game in the league standings.
The BC comeback was fueled by pair of steals and layups by Page, who was 11 of 17 from the field in the second half.
Claesey Tarvey had 14 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots for BC.
