3CFCA names Guzman and Roldan as Pitcher and Player of the Week
GLENDORA - Arianna Guzman of College of the Sequoias and Giselle Roldan of Oxnard College are the Week #10 California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association award winners. Guzman wrapped up a strong week on the rubber and at the plate for the Giants, while Roldan continued her offensive prowess for the Condors

Sophomore Arianna Guzman has kept the Giants in the hunt for the Central Valley Conference crown with her play both in the circle and at the plate. In Week #10, Guzman made four starts, going 4-1 in 25 innings worth of work. Guzman struck out 16 batters, and gave up just six total earned runs in her four games. At the plate, Guzman had five hits, two of which were doubles, and drove in four RBIs. Guzman prepped at Madera Ranchos High School and is from Madera, CA.
Giselle Roldan | Oxnard College | Freshman | Shortstop
Freshman middle infielder Giselle Roldan has been a revelation at the plate for the Condors during the 2019 campaign. Roldan, who is currently sixth in the State in batting average, went 4-for-7 at the plate in Week #10. Roldan scored five runs, and drove in another eight. Roldan hit a pair of doubles, hit two home runs, and drew two walks in the process. Roldan prepped at Pacifica High School and hails from Oxnard, CA.
