Former CCCAA Runners, Guerrero & Meng Take KCAC Runner of the Week Awards
Both Andres and Lindsey are former CCCAA student-athletes now running for University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas. Andres was a 2x all-coast conference cross country runner while at Hartnell College and qualified to the Northern CA Regional Track & Field Championship in the 5k and 10k where he placed 8th in the 10,000. Lindsey is a former student-athlete who ran cross country at Santiago Canyon College and competed at State in both 2012 and 2013.
WICHITA, Kan., - The University of Saint Mary once again sweeps the KCAC Runner of the Week awards as Andres Guerrero (Sr., CA) and Lindsey Meng (Sr., CA) were big contributors for the Spires in this past weekends Seminole Valley Stampede.

Andres Guerrero ran a 30 second PR and was the main reason Saint Mary was able to finish ahead of #4 ranked Saint Francis and win the Seminole Valley Stampede at Mount Mercy in Cedar Falls, IA.

Meng finished 10th out of 167 runners with a time of 19:04 at the Seminole Valley Stampede on Saturday. The senior's performance led the Spires to a 10th place finish out of 20 teams at the tough meet.
