The final day of the 2016 Southern California Regional Championships started with the women’s bracket that saw a battle between #1 Santa Barbara College and #4 Golden West College. Santa Barbara would need two overtime goals to beat Golden West 10-9. Santa Barbara was led by Addison Seale’s team high three goals. With the win Santa Barbara moved on to the championship game at 3pm and Golden West’s loss dropped them into the third place game at 1:30pm.

The other women’s semifinal match saw #2 Fullerton College fall to #3 Riverside City College 11-5. Riverside was led by a pair of Tigers, Jacqueline Godinez and Emily Martin each netted three goals. With the win Riverside moved on to the championship game at 3pm and Fullerton’s loss dropped them into the third place game at 1:30pm.
