January 27, 2021
GLENDALE - Despite a slow start, a fast finish by the Kansas City Chiefs gave the defending Super Bowl Champions a 38-24 win over the Buffalo Bills Sunday to win its second straight American Football Conference Championship, and will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers February 7 in Super Bowl LV.
Reid, who played football at GCC in 1976-77, will be coaching in his fourth Super Bowl, first as an assistant for the Green Bay Packers in 1996 and secondly in the 2004 Super Bowl as the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs were appearing in their third straight AFC Championship game after finishing the regular season 13-3 and beating the Cleveland Browns 22-17 in the second round of the playoffs.
