The West Valley tennis team continued its march to the postseason with a 7-2 win at intra-division rival Mission Friday. The victory moved the Vikings to 9-4 overall, 7-3 in the Coast Conference, and gave WVC a season sweep of the Saints (4-6, 0-6).
The Vikings held a 2-1 lead after doubles, as Seraphina Vossen and Abigail Prokter defeated Fran Campagna/Lara Norman-Stowers in D1, while Zeynep Aynaci and Sonya Hu held off Patti Bamford/Tina Chen 8-5 in D2. Natasha Sackx and Brynn McKenzie lost a hard-fought D3 match to Ginni Dhindsa 8-6.

S6: Brynn McKenzie (WVC) defeats Julia Scott (M): 6-2, 6-2
West Valley hosts Highway 17 rival Cabrillo (2-7, 2-5) March 25 and then wraps up the regular season March 29 at Cañada (8-1, 8-1). First serve for both matches is 2:00pm.
