The City College of San Francisco men's basketball team defeated the Ohlone College Renegades 93-68 on Friday at CCSF.

The Rams end the regular season with a 28-1 record and finish undefeated in Coast-North Conference play with an 12-0 record.

The Rams started out the gate quickly by jumping to an 8-0 lead after the first three minutes had passed in the first half.

The defenses for both teams finally kicked in for both teams, and Ohlone began to cut into the Rams' lead. At one point in the first half, Ohlone took the lead away from CCSF and led the Rams 20-19 with eight minutes remaining.

To answer Ohlone's run, CCSF relied on their bench. Guards Curtis Witt and Eddy Ionescu came in and scored a quick three and a top-of-the-key jumper, respectively, to retake the lead (24-20) with seven minutes remaining in the first half. Witt and Ionescu finished the first half leading their team in points. Witt scored 12 points and Ionescu totaled 16 points. The Rams closed the first half with a 47-30 lead

Things got back to normal in the second half. The Rams locked down on defense and picked up the pace on offense.   The Rams outscored the Renegades 46-38.

Forward Michael Steadman and guard Dexter Hood took over the scoring duties in the second half. Steadman finished the game with 13 points while Hood tied with Ionescu for a team-leading 16 points.

The CCCAA playoffs begin next weekend, and playoff matchups will be announced early next week.
