The West Valley women's soccer team rode a pair of goals from Kayla Potter to a 3-1 win over Ohlone Tuesday in Fremont. Alex Spatola (Jessica Cook assist) scored first for the Vikings (4-1-1) before Potter closed out the first half with a goal off a Holly Hopwood helper and an unassisted tally. Samantha Coelho turned away four Renegade shots to earn her fourth win of the year. West Valley hosts Los Medanos (1-2-1) Friday (9/14). Kickoff is 4:00pm.
