Hartnell Defeated by Cabrillo

The Hartnell Men's Basketball lost to visiting Cabrillo 78-58. The Panthers trailed by three heading into halftime 35-32 and had a chance to cut it to one as their defense stood its ground possession after possesion in the first half. The second half was a different story as the Panthers came out a little cold and the Seahawks capitalized and took advantage of their size and length extending their lead to 10 points quickly and extending it throughout.

Offensively for the Panthers Brenden Cannon had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Coming off the bench to score 14 points was Miguel Velez, adding a team high 13 rebounds. Daniel Bost and Mason Lyman chipped in 10 points each.

Next up for the Panthers (4-18, 0-7) they will host Gavilan on Wednesday February 5th. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
