Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Men's Soccer team opened the 2021 season hosting Fullerton College at home on Tuesday, August 31st at the BC Soccer Field and fell to the Hornets, 4-0.
A quiet first 34 minutes from both sides until the first goal was scored at the 35th minute from FC. Unfortunately for the men in red, another goal would be secured five minutes later from Fullerton College and then another shortly after going into the half.
With the second half rolling the Renegades pushed forward and held the Hornets up until the final minutes of the game. Fullerton College would end the game on top, 4-0.
Defensively, BC Goalkeeper Jeremy Ramirez made a few key saves throughout the game to keep FC from another goal.
With the lost, they move to 0-1-1 on the season. Up next, another home match to end the week to playing at Norco College this Friday (9/03) at 4:00pm. Live stream will be available
