After its 2021 season opener was postponed due to weather, Citrus College finally got the ball rolling and grabbed a 4-2 victory at Oxnard College Friday afternoon.

The Owls start the season 1-0-0, while the Condors drop to 0-1-0 with the loss.

Berenice Macinas scored a goal and assisted on another. Citrus also saw goals from Kaylee Sanchez, Alyssa Lopez and Janelle Alvarado, helping the Owls post 11 shots in the game.

Defensively, Chloe See made two saves in goal for the Owls.

Citrus continues on the road, heading to San Bernardino Valley on Tuesday for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff.
