SBCC ran into one of the top teams in the state on Thursday and Irvine Valley came away with a 9-0 men's tennis win in Irvine.
It was the eighth straight win by the Lasers (8-1). The Vaqueros fell to 4-6.
The Vaqueros will play three of their next four on the road, starting Tuesday at Glendale at 2 p.m.
