Warriors Clinch Conference Title With Sweep over Eagles
TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College won its 13th South Coast Conference title on Thursday with a 9-0 victory over Mt. San Jacinto at the ECC Tennis Courts.
It is the Warriors' second straight conference title and 13th overall. The Warriors won the title in 2019 and no conference champion was crowned in 2020 due to cancellation of the season from the COVID-19 Pandemic. There was no season in 2021.
The Warriors remain undefeated on the season and dropped just four games against the Eagles to secure the season sweep.
The team will return to action to wrap up conference play against Rio Hondo on Tuesday at the ECC Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
