W. BEACH VOLLEYBALL: FULLERTON OVER CYPRESS

On Friday, the Hornets took on district-rival Cypress College for a doubleheader matchup at Huntington Beach and won both matches 3-2 and 4-1.

In match one, Hannah Wilmes and Kenzie Palmer won their games 21-19, 20-22, 15-11, Faith Webb and Chloe Johnson took theirs 21-12, 21-9, while Hailey Vargas and Samantha Swanson clinched 21-19, 16-21, 15-9. Alexis Zander and Hannah Tobin won their battle 17-21, 21-17, 15-8, while Arianna Requejo and Isa Domingo were victorious 21-3, 21-18.

In the second match of the day, wins were had by Wilmes and Palmer 21-7, 21-10, Webb and Johnson 21-8, 21-16, while Karen Delgadillo and Arianna Requejo sealed the team win beating their opponents 21-19-21-19

Up Next: Fullerton (5-0 overall) will play Santa Ana College in another doubleheader at Huntington Beach on Friday, May 7th. Match times are at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
