KNIGHTS END SEASON WITH 3-1 WIN OVER SISKIYOUS

WEED, Calif. – Shasta College's men's soccer team wrapped up the season with a 3-1 road victory over College of the Siskiyous on Tuesday and ended the year with back-to-back wins for the second time in 2019.

Sewa Dah-Glodjinon scored two goals and Miguel Ortiz III added a goal in the victory. Giovanni Antonio Garcia Cortez, Ivan Saavedra and Sam Elwood each tallied an assist.

Dah=Glodjinon and Ortiz III each had four shots on goal and Logan Coots had another.

Jose Roberto Garcia Padilla recorded five saves in goal for Shasta.

Ortiz III was the leading scorer this season for the Knights with eight goals while Jose Antonio Hinojosa scored four goals. Coots led the team with four assists and Adam Nichols led the team with 76 saves.

Shasta finishes the year 5-6-1 in Golden Valley Conference and 6-8-1 overall.
