After finding itself in a deep 17-0 hole early, Citrus College battled but could never overcome the deficit and fell 71-45 to Glendale College.
The Owls drop to 13-14 overall, 3-9 in the Western State Conference-South. The Vaqueros secured the conference championship and improved to 19-5 and 10-2 in conference with their 10th-straight win.
Joceline Escamilla led the Owls with a career-high 13 points (5-for-9) and was one rebound shy of a double-double, posting nine boards in the game, just one shy of tying her career-high. Katherine Goostrey chipped in 12 points.
Citrus closes out the season on Monday, taking on LA Pierce for non-conference action at 2 p.m.
