RIVERSIDE -- The Grossmont College women's tennis team displayed heart, but came out short in the season opening match at Riverside City College 6-3. 

Coach Megan Haber's team played well at the top of the roster. Winning the #1 Doubles and the top two singles matches.

The squad will take on Saddleback on Thursday in the home opener. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the tennis courts on campus.
