Jets defeat Palomar College on Sophomore Day!

San Diego, CA – This afternoon San Diego Mirarmar College's Women's Soccer team hosted the Palomar College Comets for their last match of the 2019-2020 season!  Kick off was at 1pm.  The Jets also celebrated their sophomore players prior to the game at their pre-game meeting!

The Jets and Comets took the field and played a very physical first half.  One goal was made in the first half but the Comets were offside so it didn't count against the Jets!  When the referee blew the whistle indicating half time, the score was still 0-0!  At halftime, the sophomores were presented with flower bouquets and honored with their families. 

A tough second half, but the Jets were hungry for a win! Sarah (Bear) Jenny scored a goal for the Jets moving the score to 1-0.  Our defense was able to hold off the Comets and seal the win for our Jets!

What a great win and great memory to send off our sophomores! Congratulations Jets!
