Falcon women top Redwoods

The Folsom Lake women's tennis team took advantage of the perfect spring weather on Tuesday as they defeated College of the Redwoods, 6-3, in a Big 8 Conference match at FLC's Lorimer-Bruns Tennis Complex.  The Falcons actually won 6 of the 7 matches played, losing only in #1 doubles, 5-8.  Without a 6th player, the Falcons forfeited #6 singles and #3 doubles.

On a side-note, #5 singles player Enessa Yevtushenko - who is Ukrainian - chose to play in Tuesday's match despite the Russian invasion of her homeland and concerns for the safety of family and friends in Ukraine.  The Folsom Lake campus community will keep her and her family in our thoughts and prayers.
