(Walnut, CA) In a second-round South Coast Conference Tournament match, Mt. SAC (17-0-3, 7-0-2) handed East Los Angeles College (6-13-3, 3-5-1) a 4-1 defeat, at the Mt. SAC Soccer Complex, on Tuesday night. The Mounties led at halftime, 1-0.

Four Mt. SAC players scored goals on the night, including Ivan Escobar (Alain Hernandez assist), Angel Santoyo (Gerardo Cazares assist), Cazares (Guilherme Farias assist), and Jason Garcia (unassisted).

Goalkeepers Hernandez and John Samano split equal time in the goal (45 minutes each) with each producing three saves for the Mounties.

Mt. SAC will face second-seed Cerritos College (15-1-4, 5-1-2) in the SCC Championship which will be held on Friday, Nov. 15 (7:00 pm) at El Camino College.  The Mounties and Falcons played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 25.
