With nearly a week to regroup after their straight-set loss to Fresno last Wednesday, the FLC volleyball team took the floor confident and ready on Tuesday afternoon and rolled to a straight-set win over De Anza College, 25-19, 25-20, 25-23. The Falcons utilized a variety of lineups, with Katy Kasparian, Taylar Schafer, Mide Agbe-Davies, and Jessica Baker providing most of the firepower on sets from Kendall Hughes. Maria Rivera and Dharma Jensen stepped up on defense for the Falcons, digging any De Anza shot that came their way. With the win, the Falcons evened their early-season record at 5-5. They'll open Big 8 Conference play on Friday against Diablo Valley before hosting West Valley and Feather River for a 3-way mini-tournament on Saturday.
