SBCC routed Fullerton 8-1 on Friday for its seventh straight women's tennis victory.
The Vaqueros (7-1) have won 60 of 71 matches this year. Fullerton fell to 4-6.
SBCC took a 3-0 lead after the doubles, then secured the non-conference win with straight-set victories by No. 1 Kelly Coulson (6-0, 6-0) and No. 6 Sydney Paillon (6-1, 6-3).
"Our closest matches were at Nos. 4 and 5," said coach Christina Klein. "Ashley Allen lost the first set 4-6 at No. 5 and was down 2-5 in the second set. She came back to win 5 straight games and took the second set 7-5, then won the super breaker 10-6. Ashley had an incredible comeback and showed that she is a fighter for holding off that second-set loss."
The Vaqueros return to WSC action on Tuesday when they host Bakersfield at 2 p.m.
