SBCC cruised  to easy wins in the first three singles on Tuesday, then Adolfo Ortega pulled out an inspirational 7-6 (9-7), 6-0 victory over Mario Cabaloza, propelling the Vaqueros to a 7-2 men's tennis win at Bakersfield.

The Vaqueros (7-11, 5-5) avenged a 5-4 setback to the Renegades earlier this year and finished third in the WSC team standings. Bakersfield is 6-11 and 4-6.

Emerson Sekban, Spencer Ekola, Diego Santos and Ortega all posted singles and doubles wins. Dim Dros and Jun Zhao won the No. 3 doubles 9-8 after a 10-8 tiebreaker victory.
