(Long Beach, CA) Ranked No. 9 in the most recent California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association state poll, Mt. San Antonio College (14-3, 6-0) extended its win streak to eight with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-16) South Coast Conference win over host Long Beach City College (1-11, 0-5) on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Allison Whiteman (17 kills), Riley DeGroot (nine kills, eight digs), Kylie Rhodes (23 assists, seven digs), and Riannel Arevalo (10 digs, two service aces) were among the top performers for the Mounties.

Mt. SAC will host Rio Hondo College (6-5, 3-2) in an SCC matchup on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. The Mounties defeated the Roadrunners 3-1 (25-11, 25-19, 19-25, 25-19) on Sept. 16.
