MEN'S TENNIS: FC OVER MESA

The Hornets broke up a five-game losing streak on Thursday beating San Diego Mesa on the road 5-4 in a non-conference match.

Fullerton came out winning two out of three in doubles play with the teams Rodrigo Onate/Thiago Manzano (8-2) and Charles Kirk/Louis St. Claire (8-1) setting the table.

In singles-play Sergio Lee-Gutierrez defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-2. Leonardo Ramirez (6-0, 6-0) and Scott Merritt (6-3, 6-2) stepped up in the No. 5 and 6 positions to help seal the win for the Hornets.

Up Next: Fullerton (6-6 overall, 0-4 OEC) will jump back into conference-play on Thursday, March 14th when they head out to Riverside City College. Matches will begin at 2:00 pm.
