(San Bernardino, CA) The only score of the match was enough to lift visiting Mt. San Antonio College (7-1) to a 1-0 non-conference win over San Bernardino Valley College (2-6) on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Zuhayle Diaz scored at the 43:26 mark of the game on an assist from Veronica Aquino to put the Mounties ahead 1-0, which proved enough to seal the victory.

Goalies Leila Peregrina (45 minutes) and Jennifer Sanchez (45 minutes, one save) split time in goal for Mt. SAC.

The Mounties will wrap up their non-conference schedule on Friday, Sept. 23, at home against Citrus College (6-0) at 5 p.m.. South Coast Conference play begins for Mt. SAC on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at home against Rio Hondo College.
